Adam is another one of our Auto Technicians working on your vehicle. It’s time to get to know Adam a little better! By the age of 16, Adam knew he wanted to be an auto technician. He graduated with an Automotive Technology degree from Wyo Tech before he moved back to Oregon in 2006. When he’s not working on your vehicles, he can be found with his family and usually outside hunting, camping, and spending time in the woods.
Position: Auto Technician
Tell us about your family: My wife Jessica is the assistant manager at Rays here in Veneta. My Daughter Kyla is attending the UofO to get her teaching degree with a major in Spanish.
How long have you worked at Pape Automotive? I joined the Pape Automotive Family in January 2020. I’ve known Jesy since 2006.
How long have you been a part of the Veneta/Elmira community? I have lived in Veneta since 2007.
What’s your favorite thing about the Veneta/Elmira community? My favorite thing about living here is the proximity to all the outdoor recreation.
What’s your favorite local restaurant? My go-to spot when I need a pick me up in the morning and sometimes afternoon is Cup of Joe.
What was your first vehicle? My first car was my 1949 Chevy Pick up, which I still have. It is slowly getting restored.
What’s something you think everyone should know about their vehicle? Shocks and struts are often overlooked. Shocks and struts cycle 1500 to 1900 times a mile, even on well-maintained roads. In 50,000 miles that can exceed 75 million cycles. Worn shocks and struts can cause increased braking distance and less overall handling and ride quality.
